A For most customers it is not critical.  There are small manufacturing tolerances in the pedals and our pot kit, also the pedals could be worn or distorted.  These things can sometimes add up to the wiper going off the edge of the sensor at zero or full pedal.
    • If signal is being lost at zero pedal, the PCB needs raising.
    • If signal is being lost at full pedal, the PCB needs lowering.

A Good question! If you get problems when you slam the throttle to full, then the PCB is too high. If you get problems when you let the throttle spring back to zero,  then the PCB is too low.

  18. Does it improve the performance of the pedals and how? will I notice a difference versus stock?
  19. Q Does it improve the performance of the pedals and how? will I notice a difference versus stock?
    Asked on 28th September 2021 12:48 am
A The main advantage is the improved reliability. The stock pots are affected by dirt, dust and wear relatively quickly. The linear pot used in our kit is sealed and has a life of 1,000,000+ cycles.
